The Women's squad win the Triple, for the second year in a row

This weekend saw the Women's team win the South West Women's League for the second year in a row. Adding the League title to the Invitational Cup victory of the week before, and the Indoor Championship in January. This is the second year the squad have won all three titles!

The League title was very close with Bristol and Cheltenham both finishing on 41 points. Bristol had a +26 goal difference, but Cheltenham convincingly cliniching the title with +44!

Sunday also saw the last league game of the season with both Bristol and Cheltenham winning over Birmingham.

Cheltenham's game finished 15 -1 in favour of Cheltenham. It was a textbook show of lacrosse...

Sarah Thomas in goal was a brick-wall, allowing just the one past her even with Birmingham trying their best to beat her.

The Defence led by Captain Chloe Wilson was formidable. Slides were quick and shut-down many a scoring opportunity and exceptional hustle led to quick clears up field.

Midfield were strong on the circle with great draws from Erin and Shelby. Great re-defending when needed and made Birmingham's life very difficult when trying to transition the ball.

Attack. Well, they showed they have listened to everything they have been told over the last year (and more!). Calm, clinical and good teamwork led to 7 different goal scorers finding the back of the net.

Overall a fantastic day and an awesome way to finish the season... NATIONAL FINALS HERE WE COME!!
