And just like that another summer is over, and the season has un-officially got underway. Bath Lacrosse Club host the 'unofficial start of the season tournament' every year and Cheltenham Men's team were in attendance.

As with any first games; the excitement, nerves and general rust were always going to be present as the day got underway. Bath 8s this year wasn't about winning, but about growing together as a team and learning valuable lessons forthe squad as they head into a competitive Div 1 this season.

Under the calm captaincy of James Cole and Pete Smith, the men did just what they had gone their to do: win some, lose some, but remain coachable and adaptable as all times!

As Pete said at the end of the day: 'Moments of pre-season rust balanced by some flashes of top tier lacrosse!'

Congratulations to Nathan Bryant for Man of the Tournament. His Cheltenham debut and he is already making a name for himself at the club.
